This 8-day tour from Tangier takes you from the north to the south of Morocco, from the Strait of Gibraltar to the golden dunes of the Sahara. You'll discover the incredible diversity of Morocco: coastal cities, Rif mountains, historic imperial cities and the mystical desert.
The journey starts in Tangier, the gateway to Africa, passes through the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, dives into the millennial history of Fes, crosses the Atlas Mountains and culminates with a magical night in the Sahara Desert.
Itinerary
1Day 1 – Arrival in Tangier+
Welcome at Tangier airport or port. City tour: Kasbah, medina, Cap Spartel, Hercules Caves.
2Day 2 – Tangier – Tétouan – Chefchaouen+
Drive to Chefchaouen via Tétouan. Check in and free time in the blue city.
3Day 3 – Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes+
Depart to Fes via the Roman ruins of Volubilis and a Meknes visit.
4Day 4 – Fes Exploration+
Full day guided tour of the Fes medina, the world's largest medieval medina.
5Day 5 – Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga+
Cross the Middle Atlas towards the Sahara. Sunset camel trek.
6Day 6 – Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades+
Sunrise over dunes. Drive to Todra Gorges and Dades Valley.
7Day 7 – Dades – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech+
Kasbahs route, visit Ait Benhaddou, cross the High Atlas to Marrakech.
8Day 8 – Marrakech – Departure+
Marrakech tour or free time depending on departure. Airport transfer.
